The pace of the petrol retail sector has outpaced a biennial event, says the organiser of the Forecourt Show

This year marks the start of the Forecourt Show becoming an annual rather than biennial event, as part of The UK Food & Drink Shows at Birmingham’s NEC.

This reflects how the petrol station industry is “evolving at unprecedented speed”, says show organiser and Forecourt Trader’s parent William Reed.

As the market moves towards EV infrastructure and alternative fuels, retail technology, and diversification of offer, an annual show will reflect these changes in real-time, says William Reed’s exhibitions group commercial director Dan Eversfield.

“Put simply, the pace of the sector has outgrown a two‑year cycle,” says Eversfield. “Our ambition is clear: the Forecourt Show will become the annual focal point for the UK forecourt industry which petrol station operators, suppliers and innovators plan their calendars around.”

Register here for your free ticket for this year’s show from April 13-15. This will give you access to the Forecourt Show and three other exhibitions, which take place under the same roof: National Convenience Show, Farm Shop & Deli Show and Food & Drink Expo.
